Water Supply has resumed
Dear Parents and Carers,
Please note that the water supply to the village has now been restored. Unless further issues occur, school will be open as normal tomorrow for our final day of term.
We hope to see lots of you at the final 'Carols around the tree' assembly at 2:45 tomorrow.
Warm regards,
Mr Rudge
Update on Water Supply Issue
Dear Parents/Carers,
Thank you for your prompt response and understanding earlier. We wanted to let you know that we will continue to monitor the water supply situation closely. We will notify you as soon as we have any further updates or confirmation that the issue has been resolved.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this unexpected disruption.
Best regards,

Emergency closure of school
Dear Parents/Carers,
Severn Trent has informed us that a third-party contractor has accidentally damaged a water pipe, causing interruptions to the water supply in our area. At present we have no running water in school. Their teams are working swiftly to resolve the issue, but unfortunately, our school currently has no water available. [gov.uk]
Children are currently returning from the pantomime—but due to the water outage, and based on DfE emergency guidance, schools may need to temporarily close or partially close when premises become unsafe or unsuitable for normal operations. The Department for Education advises that such a closure is appropriate when schools cannot provide their usual services, including basic hygiene, meal preparation, or toilet facilities. [gov.uk]
For this reason, we kindly ask that you arrange to collect your child as soon as possible from school. We understand this may cause inconvenience and sincerely appreciate your swift response and understanding as we prioritise the health, safety, and wellbeing of all pupils.
We apologise for the disruption and will keep you updated with any developments. Thank you for your cooperation.
Best regards,
Mr Rudge

No Ball Club after school today
Dear Parents/ Carers,
Please be aware that due to Mr Sharpe not teaching today because children are attending the pantomime, there is no ball club after school. We are aware that on Mr Sharpe's original booking form, it included today's session - we are therefore sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and will ask Mr Sharpe about how we ensure the charge for this session moves forward to next term.
Many thanks
Mr Rudge
"Pupils are happy in school. They appreciate the wide range of opportunities to explore their talents and interests. The school encourages pupils to share their own talents with others. For instance, pupils run their own magic and singing clubs."
