All children: Random Act of Kindness 3 February 2025 (by claire perrett (claire.perrett)) |
Dear Parents and Guardians,
We are excited to announce that on Friday, 14th February 2025, we will be holding a Random Acts of Kindness Day here at Church Broughton C of E Primary School. This special day will be an opportunity for our pupils to show kindness, thoughtfulness, and love to those around them—values that are at the heart of our Christian teachings.
Before this day, each child will randomly choose a name from a classmate (or staff member). On the day, they will be encouraged to perform a small, meaningful act of kindness. This could include:
- Giving a small, inexpensive gift,
- Writing a kind letter or postcard,
- Offering a helping hand or a kind gesture such as sharing or assisting with tasks.
At Church Broughton C of E Primary School, we believe that these acts of kindness reflect the Christian values of compassion, love, and service to others and we want to encourage our pupils to live out these values in their daily lives. By practising kindness, we help build a stronger, more supportive community rooted in love and respect.
We encourage you to discuss with your child the Christian significance of kindness. We believe this day will not only bring joy and smiles but also help nurture hearts filled with generosity and empathy.
Thank you for your ongoing support in fostering a loving, kind environment for our children.
