Young Voices Volunteering

8 December 2023 (by claire perrett (claire.perrett))

Dear Parent/Guardian

The Young Voices concert at is fast approaching. If you’d like to secure a ticket to watch your child perform at this magical event while fundraising for charity, Place2Be have an exciting opportunity for you!

Place2Be is Young Voices’ chosen charity partner, and together they’re aiming to raise over £50,000 to support Place2Be’s Children’s Mental Health Week. You can help raise this incredible amount and bag a free ticket to see your child perform by volunteering with Place2Be on the night. You’ll get to watch most of the concert free of charge from some great seats, and then leave half an hour before the end to collect donations as the audience leave, (don't worry, Place2Be volunteers will still enjoy the spectacle of street dancers, beatboxers and the wonderful Young Voices choir!)

This year's theme for Children's Mental Health Week is 'My Voice Matters’, and what better way to celebrate this week, than coming together to enjoy the concert while raising vital money for children’s mental health. With the cost-of-living crisis impacting the daily lives of children and young people, this money is needed more than ever.

If you’re interested in securing a free ticket and helping to raise this incredible amount to support Place2Be, please visit: Place2Be’s application page where you can apply for your volunteer space or email events@place2be.org.uk for more information.

There are limited spots available, which will be filled on a first come first served basis, so apply now to avoid missing out!

Best wishes
