The school day
Due to Coronavirus, the school is now operating a staggered school day to maintain separate class bubbles.
Information for timings can be found here: Plan for reopening 2020-21 – PARENT GUIDANCE
The daily timetable can be found here: September daily timetable
The gates and doors open at 8.45am. Children can go straight to class where an activity will be available or take part in Wake & Shake which takes place in the hall for 5 minutes. We ask parents to encourage their children’s independence by leaving Key Stage 1 children in the cloakrooms and allowing Key Stage 2 children to come into school on their own.
Register closes: 9.10 am
Morning Break: 10.30 – 10.45 am
Lunch Break: 12.00 – 1.00 pm (FS/KS1) and 12.15 – 1.00 pm (KS2)
Afternoon Break: Children have a 10 minute break at a time chosen by class teachers.
School Finishes: 3.15 pm
Children in KS2 are released from the doors in the library/cloakroom. Children in FS/KS1 are released from the classrooms when their parents can be seen on the playground. Children not collected on time wait in the hall. Children attending a club after school will also wait in the hall.
There is an act of worship at 9.00 am from Monday to Thursday. Celebration Worship takes place on a Friday at 9.00 am. Parents are welcome to attend. Each class prepares and delivers worship throughout the year. Again, parents are invited to attend. Times of worship may vary at Christmas, during Holy Week, for other special celebrations and occasionally when there are special curricular events.
