Welcome to Church Broughton Primary School.

Considering which school to send your child to is an enormous responsibility and one that is both exciting and challenging. Starting school is a major milestone in any child’s development and it is important that the right choice is made.  We know that the decision is made easier if you have the necessary information to support you.

Our website and prospectus provide a significant amount of information about the school including levels of attainment, achievements, curriculum, provision for pupils with special needs, teaching arrangements, out of school activities, and uniform. Not all important information can be recorded in this way.

One of our distinctive characteristics is the friendly, supportive atmosphere in which everyone feels safe and confident. Only in this climate can pupils and adults learn well and hope to reach their potential and the high expectation to which we all aspire. Pupils, parents, staff, Governors and helpers are all committed to supporting one another. The school exhibits a strong learning culture. This has been recognised and praised during both Ofsted and Church Inspections this year.

Should you elect to send your child to Church Broughton you can expect us to nurture and encourage them to grow in confidence and develop as independent learners. They will be supported by high quality teaching, and a stimulating curriculum.
