Welcome to our school...
Dear Parents,
Welcome to Church Broughton, Church of England, Primary School.
Considering which school to send your child to is an enormous responsibility and one that is both exciting and challenging. Starting school is a major milestone in any child’s development and making the best choice is vitally important. The decision can be eased if you have the necessary information to support you.
Our website provides a significant amount of information about the school including; recent levels of attainment, achievements, curriculum, provision for pupils with specific needs, teaching arrangements and out of school activities. It also includes information about our distinctive Christian character and how we feel this positively contributes to our educational provision.
During our 2010 OfSTED, the school’s friendly, supportive atmosphere in which everyone feels safe and confident was identified as outstanding. In this climate pupils and adults learn well and strive to reach their potential and meet high expectations to which we all aspire. Pupils, parents, staff, Governors and helpers are all committed to supporting one another. The school exhibits a strong, positive, learning culture.
Should you decide to send your child to Church Broughton you can expect us to nurture and encourage them to grow in confidence, develop as independent thinkers and learners and be well prepared for the next stage in their educational journey. They will be given high quality teaching and a stimulating curriculum in a safe and motivational environment.
As you make your decision, we urge you to visit our school, spend time with the staff and see at first hand the learning experiences we offer.
If there is any further information you would like, or if you would like to visit please feel free to contact us.
Best Wishes,
Margot Davison
